Momcilovic Named to Big 12 Starting Five

IRVING, Texas - For the third time this season, Iowa State junior Milan Momcilovic has been named to the Big 12 Men's Basketball Starting Five.
Momcilovic was one of two players in the Big 12 to lead their team to a 2-0 record on the week while averaging at least 24 points. He averaged 24.5 points and 4.5 rebounds, while tallying three assists, two blocked shots and two steals as Iowa State beat UCF and Oklahoma State last week. He was 9-of-17 (.529) from 3-point range on the week, while connecting on all 10 shots at the free throw line.Â
No. 8 Iowa State returns to action on Thursday, hosting Colorado at Hilton Coliseum. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. on FS1.
