Cyclone Tennis Signs Transfer Millie Day

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State tennis program signed Idaho State transfer Millie Day, head coach Jaron Maestas announced Monday. Day was a 2026 All-Big Sky First Team singles selection and was the 2025 Big Sky Freshman of the Year.
As a sophomore, Day posted a 12-9 overall singles record, including a 5-3 mark in conference play from the No.1 position in the lineup. Along with teammate Emmy Richards, Day put forward a 14-5 doubles record. She was named Big Sky Player of the Week once during the season.
In her freshman season, Day registered a 13-8 record in singles action en route to earning Big Sky Freshman of the Year honors. She was the Bradford Cup Delta singles champion and Barb Chandler Classic Blue Flight runner-up.
A Buckinghamshire, England native, Day was a member of the 2022 National Doubles Championship squad at her school. She was a doubles semi-finalist at the U16 British National Championships and a doubles finalist at Premier Women's Brit Tour.
