Capped of his career at Iowa State with a 9-12 senior campaign… finished 3-7 in dual action… his final overall record as a Cyclone was 45-46 and 18-25 in dual meets… earned his degree in Liberal Arts and Studies in December of 2016… took fifth place at the Big 12 Championship… pinned Brandon Tribble of Wyoming in 1:55 in his final collegiate match… competed at the Midlands Championships and the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational… earned eighth-place honors in Vegas, opening the tournament with a fall in 1:24 over Utah Valley’s Dustin Dennison… defeated Iowa’s Steven Holloway, 10-5 in the Cy-Hawk dual.
2015-16
Capped off the season with a 16-8 record… finished 5-5 in dual competition… went 2-0 at the Virginia Duals with wins over Cameron Voss (George Mason) and Devin Nye (Kent State)… finished as the runner-up champion at the Cyclone Open… won four matches at the Cyclone Open, two of which were by fall and one by major-decision… began the year with a championship performance at the Kaye Young Open… defeated Iowa State counterpart Andrew Stowe by 20-6 major-decision in the title match to take first-place honors.
2014-15
Posted a 14-11 record for the Cyclones... recorded five wins and seven losses in dual competition... defeated Chace Eskam of Arizona State by 6-3 decision... finished sixth-place at the UNI Open... picked up a pair of second period falls over Connor Larson of Grandview and Jacob Semple of Missouri before having to medical-forfeit out of the UNI Open... pinned California Baptist's David Dill in 0:15 at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational... the fall in 0:15 was the fifth fastest in school history... won the 2014 Kaye Young open behind three falls... pinned Myron Hamilton of Lincoln College, Matthew Kent of Ellsworth and Waldorf's Angel Gomez... defeated Tyler Swope by 7-3 decision to take home the Kaye Young Open title.
2013-14
Finished the season 9-15, and was 6-5 in dual competition … pinned Pratt CC’s Patrick Jones in :07 seconds, notching the second-fastest pin in program history … Went 2-0 against Oklahoma’s Ross Larson, recording a pin in the dual matchup and earning the 9-6 decision in the Big 12 tournament… finished the season with four pins, three of which coming in less than 40 seconds of action (0:30 and 0:39).
2012-13

High School
Three-time state qualifier for Highland Park Community high school in Detroit… won back-to-back state titles at 285 pounds to finish his high school career… went 33-1 as a senior to capture the Division 2 heavyweight crown, winning a district title and regional title en route to the Michigan state tournament… went 26-0 as a junior to take the Division 2 heavyweight crown, again winning a district and regional title en route to the state tournament… went 31-4 as a sophomore… took third in his district and finished in the top-four at regionals to qualify for the state tournament at 215 pounds, where he would eventually take seventh… coached by Glen Washington.
