Finished sophomore campaign with an 18-10 overall record, going 9-8 in dual competition… recorded six pins, four major decisions and two technical falls on the year… had the 10th quickest pin in school history as he won by fall in 26 seconds over North Carloina’s Brian Bokoski at the National Collegiate Open… runner-up at the Big 12 Championships to Oklahoma State’s Eddie Klimara… had a seven-match win streak that began in early February, ending in the title match at the National Collegiate Open… became first Cyclone, along with teammate Boaz Beard, to be a National Collegiate Open All-American… went 4-1, scoring two pins and two technical falls, to take third at the Harold Nichols Cyclone Open.

Finished 15-10 on the season … posted a 1-2 record at the NCAA Championships, including a 52 second pin of Tyler Iwamura of CSU-Bakersfield … started off season with eight consecutive victories … eared two victories over top-10 opponents against Ladd Rupp and Jon Morrison of Oklahoma State … nine of 15 victories earned the Cyclones bonus points … Harold Nichols/Cyclone Open 125-pound champion, posting three pins and a tech fall en route to title … finished fourth for Cyclones at 125 pounds in the Big 12 Championships.
