2025-26
Outdoor: Qualified for both 5,000m and 10,000m races at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, finishing Second Team All-American in both races (10th in 5,000m and 15th in 10,000m)...finished runner-up at the Big 12 Championships over 5,000m and 8th over 10,000m... ran a personal best of 13:15.64 for 5,000m at the Payton Jordan Invitational, which is the second fastest performance in school history...also competed at the Bryan Clay Invitational.Â
Indoor: Finished ninth in the 5,000m (13:48.52) at NCAA Championships to earn Second Team All-America, one spot off first team honors … placed fourth in the 3,000m at Big 12 Championships with 7:55.42 … opened season with his nationals-qualifying 5,000m time of 13:18.72, finishing seventh at the BU Season Opener and posting the fourth-fastest performance in program history … took 12th at the BU Terrier Classic in the 3,000m with a PR of 7:43.87, the No. 2 ISU performance while coming just .26 seconds off the record … won the mile at the Cyclone Open with an all-time best 3:56.13 to become the third-fastest all-time ISU miler … anchored the distance medley to 9:26.13 (No. 4 ISU) that took third at the Arkansas Qualifier … placed fifth in the 3,000m with 7:44.55 at the Husky Classic.
XC: Competed in four meets for the Cyclones, and helped the Cyclones get on the podium for the second year in a row(3rd place)... was Iowa State's first man across the line at the NCAA National Championships finishing 15th overall...grabbed bronze medals at both the Big 12 XC Championships and the NCAA Midwest Regionals meet... also finished 7th at the Gans Creek Classic, helping the Cyclones take the team win.
2024-25
Outdoor:Â Earned Second Team All-America finishing 11th in the 5,000m at NCAA Championships with 13:30.52 ... advanced taking third in his heat and fifth overall at NCAA West Prelims with a PR of 13:26.71 (No. 4 ISU) ... scored in the 5K at Big 12 Championships with a fourth-place finish of 13:32.29 ... took third behind two professionals at the Cyclone Twilight with a 1,500m time of 3:39.71 (No. 9 ISU) ... Drake Relays champ in the 4x1,600m, ISU's 12th title in the event ... finished sixth at Bryan Clay in the 10K, setting the fourth-best performance in school history of 27:56.79 ... ran a then-PR 13:28.12 in the 5K at the Stanford Invite.Â
Indoor:Â Had the No. 9 ISU 5K performance of 13:41.76 at the BU John Thomas Terrier Classic ... ran 13:45.89 at the BU Valentine Invite ... went sub-four with 3:58.39 for third in the the Cyclone Open mile, the sixth-fastest performance in school history ... opened season with a 13:48.51 5K at the BU Season Opener.Â
XC: Competed in five meets as one of the top runners for the 2024 NCAA Runners-Up... posted top five finishes at Nuttycombe, Pre-Nationals, Big 12 Championships and NCAA Midwest Regionals... led the Cyclones to a runner-up finish at Nuttycombe, finishing fifth in 23:18.2 in his first meet of the season... shaved off over 30 seconds from his Nuttycombe time for Wisconsin Pre-Nationals, again finishing fifth in 22:45.8... finished fourth at the Big 12 Championships to earn all-conference status with a time of 22:16.7... ran 29:09.34 at the NCAA Midwest Regional to finish third and help Iowa State to its third consecutive NCAA Championships team appearance... earned All-America status with a 37th-place finish in 29:23.8, helping ISU to its second runner-up finish at the national meet in the last five seasons.
