Born July 9, 1997 … son of Terry and Lynn Allen … earned degree and is currently in the industrial and manufacturing systems graduate program … father, Terry, was the head football coach at Northern Iowa (1989-96), Kansas (1997-2001) and Missouri State (2006-14) … Terry was an assistant coach at Iowa State from 2002-05 and the starting QB at Northern Iowa from 1976-78 … sister, Angie, was a member of the Kansas rowing team … brother, Alex, is a member of the UNI football team .. grandfather, Robert Allen, was the head men’s swimming and diving coach at Iowa from 1959-75 … an academic all-state honoree.
