Erich Anthony is in his third season as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Iowa State football program. Anthony was a graduate assistant for three seasons, helping the Cyclones to a pair of bowl appearances.
A native Bettendorf native, Anthony played football, basketball and participated in track and field at Pleasant Valley High School. His brother, Chris, was a co-captain on Iowa State’s 2000 Insight.com Bowl championship team.
He is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) and a certified strength and conditioning coach (SCCC) by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCA).
Anthony graduated from Iowa State in 2011 and earned his master's at Iowa State in 2013. He and his wife, Jill, reside in Ames.
