A native of Nevada, Iowa, Nick Uhlenhopp is in his third season on the Iowa State football staff as an assistant recruiting coordinator.  Uhlenhopp manages the day-to-day operations of the recruiting office in a fashion worthy of the Cyclone football’s upward bound grid program.
Uhlenhopp works as the football office’s liaison with NFL scouts. He manages all aspects of Iowa State’s walk-on program. Uhlenhopp coordinates Iowa State Summer Bridge Program for incoming student-athletes.  He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of official visits.
The 2002 Graceland graduate spent the last three years as the director of football operations at Western Kentucky after working five seasons in the Boston College football office.
Uhlenhopp and his wife Andrea, have a daughter Laney.
