Ramble Johnson is in his first season as an assistant strength and conditioning coach with the Iowa State football program.
Johnson came to Iowa State after spending four seasons at his alma mater, Mississippi State, as a volunteer and intern in the Bulldogs’ strength and conditioning department.
Johnson was an offensive lineman at Mississippi State from 2020-21 after playing at Northwest Mississippi Community College in 2018-19.
Johnson, a Purvis, Mississippi, native, earned his bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Mississippi State in 2022. He received his master’s degree in workforce education leadership from MSU in 2024.
He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) and has his running mechanics professional certification (RMP).
