Zac Brouillette returns to his alma mater after spending the last three seasons as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Ohio University.
Brouillette helped design and implement a year-round strength and conditioning program for the Bobcat football team during his tenure in Athens. He also assisted with the men’s basketball, softball and baseball teams.
Brouillette was a graduate assistant at Iowa State from 2008-11 prior to joining the Bobcat staff. He assisted with the football and the men’s and women’s track and field programs.
A native of Sioux City, Iowa, Brouillette was a member of the Cyclone football and track & field teams from 2006-09. An outstanding thrower, Brouillette is the school-record-holder in the weight throw (68’3.25”), finishing third in the event at the 2009 Big 12 Indoor Championships.
A certified Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCA) specialist, Brouillette earned his bachelor’s degree from Iowa State in 2008. He added a master’s degree from Iowa State in 2011, specializing in nutrition and physiology.
