Took advantage of the NCAA’s new redshirt rule which allows freshmen to wrestle on up to five countable dates and maintain their redshirt status … posted a 3-2 record … all three wins were first-period pins … placed sixth at the Luther College Open.

Three-time qualifier for the state tournament for Midland High School … placed fifth as a junior and second as a senior … compiled a 47-1 record in his final season, with his only loss coming in the state title match … all but one of his victories came by pin … tallied 119 victories in his final three seasons … set the school record for career falls, going over 102 in January.
