Wrestled to a 12-15 record, 5-9 dual, during his final season as a Cyclone… finished his career with a 66-52 career record, while going 22-29 in duals… qualified for the NCAA Championships at 165 pounds and was seeded 31st before the season ended early due to the outbreak of Covid-19 virus worldwide… came on strong at the Big 12 Championship, finishing fourth to earn a spot at the NCAA Championships… defeated Fresno State’s Adam Kemp 10-8 in sudden victory in a come-from-behind effort… opened the season with a first-place showing at the Cyclone Open… competed at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational and Southern Scuffle… wrestled a tough schedule, meeting 16 opponents that finished the season ranked in the final NCAA Coaches Poll… tallied 16 takedowns in dual action… finished the season with two wins by major decision.
2018-19
Big 12 Champion at 157 pounds… Iowa State's first Big 12 Champion since 2016… 211th conference champion in school history… qualified for the 2019 NCAA Championships… earned First Team Academic All-Big 12 recognition… compiled a 22-12 record, while going 8-6 in dual action… tallied 30 takedowns in dual action… in seven of his eight dual victories, he earned a point for riding time… recorded five victories by major decision… finished seventh at the Southern Scuffle… took fourth at the UNI Open.

Capped off his redshirt sophomore season with a 18-15 record… tallied an 8-9 mark in dual action… earned First Team Academic All-Big 12 honors… took fourth place at the Big 12 Championship… knocked off eventual Big 12 Champion Archie Colgan of Wyoming by 4-3 decision in the dual against the Pokes… competed at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational… finished in fifth place at the Lindenwood Open… opened the season with a first-place performance at the Cyclone Open… led the team in reversals in duals (8) and four-point near falls (6)… won one match by fall, three by technical fall and one by major
2016-17
Competed as the Iowa State 149-pound starter for much of the his redshirt freshman year… compiled a 14-10 overall record while going 1-5 in duals… competed at the Midlands Championships… took eighth-place at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational… defeated Coleman Hammond of CSU-Bakersfield by 6-4 decision to reach the podium… won the UNK Holiday Open, pinning teammate John Meeks in the finals in 1:55… earned runner-up honors at the Grand View Open to begin the year… in total, he earned three pins and one major decision on the year.
2015-16
Redshirted his first season at Iowa State… wrestled to a 13-5 record in his inaugural collegiate season… ended the year with a third-place finish at the Duhawk Open… defeated Iowa’s Skyler St. John by 4-3 decision in the consolation semifinals… was crowned champion at the Kaye Young Open with a perfect 3-0 record… won nine matches by bonus-point decision, including three by fall… was named the Iowa State wrestling Freshman of the Year.
