Wrestled to a 4-3 record, including a 2-1 dual mark… earned a spot on the All-Cyclone team… awarded team academic recognition… three of his four wins on the year came by first-period fall… began the year with a pin in 0:32 over Adam Ball in the Iowa State – Midland dual matchup.
2014-15
Competed in three tournaments for the Cyclones... compiled a 6-2 record... finished runner-up at the Kaye Young Open... all six of his wins were bonus-point victories (three falls, three major-decisions).Â
High School
Three-time state qualifier and two-time Class-3A state place-winner at Fort Dodge High School… went 41-1 as senior, taking third place at 170 pounds… defeated No. 2 ranked Dustin Fuller of Sioux City North in the consolation championship match… went 35-11 as a junior en route to an eighth place finish at 160 pounds… state tournament qualifier as freshman at 125 pounds… compiled a career prep record of 111-29… coached by Bobby Thompson.
