Wrestled to a 24-8 record, 10-5 dual, during his redshirt junior season… named Second Team All-American by the NWCA... qualified for the NCAA Championships at 285 pounds and was seeded 11th for the national tournament before the season ended early due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus worldwide… qualified for the NCAA Championships with a runner-up finish at the Big 12 Championship… led the team in total wins on the year… prior to his loss in the Big 12 finals, he was riding an 11-match winning streak… one of two Cyclones to wrestle in all 15 duals… won the 2020 Southern Scuffle, going 5-0 at the tournament… took fourth at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational… opened the season with a first-place showing at the Cyclone Open… in nine out of his 10 dual wins, earned a point for riding time… pushed the pace and accumulated forced 12 stall calls in duals… compiled four wins by major decision.
2018-19
Wrestled to a 27-15 record in his first full season in the lineup during his redshirt sophomore campaign… qualified for the 2019 NCAA Championships… took fifth at the Big 12 Championship… wrestled to a 9-5 mark in dual action… tallied 14 takedowns in dual meets… recorded seven victories by bonus-point margin that included three major decisions, a technical fall and three pins… finished eighth at the Southern Scuffle… finished runner-up at the Lindenwood Open… posted a pair of third-place finishes at the Cyclone Open and the UNI Open.
2017-18
Wrestled to a 19-7 record in during his redshirt freshman season… went 0-1 in dual action… finished runner-up at the Sioux City Dave Edmonds Open and Willie Myers Open… competed at the Midlands Championship, compiling a 2-2 record… took first place at the UNI Open… began the year with a third-place showing at the Cyclone Open.. 10 of his 19 wins came via bonus-point victory including three falls, five technical falls and two major decisions.
