Cyclones Earn All-Star Bowl Berths

AMES, Iowa - Iowa State tailback Darren Davis will play in the Hula Bowl and the Florida All-Star Gridiron Classic. Cyclone defensive tackle Robert Brannon will compete in the Blue-Gray Classic.
Davis, who finished his career as Iowa State's second all-time leading rusher with 3,763 yards, will compete in the Hula Bowl Jan. 22 in Wailuku, Hawaii. The Florida All-Star Gridiron Classic will be played Jan. 29 in Orlando, Fla. Former ISU quarterback Todd Bandhauer played in the contest last season, which pits Florida-born players against post-eligible seniors from Florida colleges that hail from outside the state.
Brannon, who finished the season with 69 tackles and three sacks, will compete in the Blue-Gray game Dec. 25 in Montgomery, Ala.
