Cyclones' Davis to Play in Third All-Star Bowl

AMES, Iowa -- Iowa State unanimous first-team all-Big 12 tailback Darren Davis has accepted an invitation to join teammate and defensive lineman Robert Brannon in the 1999 Blue-Gray Classic Dec. 25 in Montgomery, Ala. Davis, who finished his career as Iowa State's second all-time leading rusher with 3,763 yards, will also compete in the Hula Bowl Jan. 22 in Wailuku, Hawaii and the Florida All-Star Gridiron Classic Jan. 29 in Orlando, Fla.
