AMES, Iowa - Iowa State's Jake Sullivan has been selected to a Big 12 Conference basketball all-star team which will tour Scandinavia in August.
Sullivan was a third-team all-Big 12 pick last season, averaging 16.0 ppg. He ranked third nationally in three-point shooting and fifth nationally in free-throw shooting. The Big 12's 2001 Freshman of the Year was also a Verizon Academic All-District VII honoree, as well as, a member of the Big 12's all-academic and all-underrated teams.
Under the direction of Baylor head coach Dave Bliss, the team will play six games in Sweden, Norway and Denmark from August 5-16. The Big 12 all-star team consists of one player from each conference school and includes 10 upperclassmen.
