AMES, Iowa ? Iowa State senior libero Dana Koziol (Norfolk, Neb.) was voted to the 2003 CoSIDA District VII Women's Volleyball Academic All-America second team. It is the first time she has earned this honor. Koziol is one of five Big 12 student-athletes on the list and one of four from a university in the state of Iowa.
Koziol, who is a two-time Academic all-Big 12 honoree, owns a 3.89 grade-point average in accounting. Iowa State has placed three volleyball players on the district academic All-America list, including former Cyclone Kristin Hugdahl (1993, 1994, 1995) and Kary Law (1992, 1994).
