"I thought we played okay tonight," head coach Linda Crum said. "It hurt us that our outsides weren't all that strong tonight. But I thought the play of our middles was terrific. Katie (Kruenegel) and Ashlie (McWee) played extremely well. We were ahead in game four, but we lost our momentum and our focus. We did okay on defense, but I thought we could've played much better. Lindsey (Chapman) had a nice match tonight. She really kept us in a flow."
Iowa State returns home to play host Texas Tech on Wednesday, Nov. 12, starting at 7 p.m. at Hilton Coliseum. The Cyclones defeated Texas Tech, 3-1, earlier this season.
