Iowa State's Sullivan Named Verizon Academic All-District

AMES, Iowa - Iowa State junior guard Jake Sullivan was named to the 2002-03 Verizon Academic All-America District VII Men's Basketball Team, the College Sports Information Directors of America announced today.
Sullivan, the Big 12 Conference's all-time leader in free-throw and three-point percentages, has a 3.33 grade point average in psychology and is making his second consecutive appearance on the Academic All-District Squad. The Oakdale, Minn., native currently ranks fourth in the Big 12 in scoring with 18.1 ppg.
