AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State men's basketball team has assured itself the ninth seed at the 2003 Big 12 Men's Basketball Tournament in Dallas, Texas next week regardless of the outcome of ISU's final game at Kansas State on Saturday.
The Cyclones will battle either Texas A&M or Texas Tech in game No. 1 (seed #8 vs. seed #9), Thursday, March 13 at noon in the American Airlines Center. The winner of that game will play Friday, March 14 at noon vs. the No. 1 seed.
