"I'm a little disappointed in how we played tonight," head coach Linda Crum said. "I thought we needed to play with a little more fire than what we showed tonight. We broke down in a couple of areas and lost points and rallies. But I thought we played well in areas. I thought we hit pretty well and both of our setters (Lindsey Chapman and Amanda Craig) did a great job for us in different areas when they were in the match."
The Cyclones return to action on Wednesday, Sept. 24, when they play host to No. 8 Nebraska at the Omaha Civic Auditorium in Omaha, Neb., starting at approximately 7 p.m. The match is part of a doubleheader with NAIA schools Bellevue University (Neb.) and College of St. Mary (Neb.), who will begin play at 5 p.m.
