Brandon Brown Named Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week

AMES, Iowa - Iowa State senior linebacker Brandon Brown was named the SBC Big 12 Conference Defensive Player of the Week for his performance at Baylor, the Big 12 Conference office announced Monday.
Brown was credited with a game-high 13 tackles, including eight solo stops, a forced fumble, two fumbles recovered and a sack Saturday in Iowa State's 26-25 win at Baylor. Brown led a defensive effort that held the Bears to 140 yards rushing and forced four Baylor turnovers.
