COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Iowa State volleyball team dropped its third straight Big 12 match as they were swept by Missouri, 3-0, in a conference match at the Hearnes Center this evening. The Cyclones dropped game decisions of 30-23, 30-18 and 30-16 to move to 7-5 overall and 1-4 in Big 12 play.
Missouri used a dominating offensive effort to put the Cyclones away, as they hit an impressive .350 for the match, while holding ISU to a .091 effort. Lorenzen, third on the team in kills, led the squad for the third time this season. She also tallied eight digs on the evening.
Amanda Craig, ISU's junior setter, had another solid night directing the Iowa State offense. Craig, who came into the match in fourth among Big 12 assist leaders, racked up 36 for the Cyclones. The offensive effort went along with eight digs defensively.
