HONOLULU (AP) - Iowa State beat Northwestern State 81-77 in double overtime on Thursday night in the semifinals of the Rainbow Classic.
Curtis Stinson and Will Blalock each had 22 points for Iowa State (8-3), which will play Colorado State for the title on Friday night.
Tyronn Mitchell had 15 points for the Demons (7-3), while Jermaine Wallace and Clifton Lee each added 14.
Tasheed Carr of Iowa State made two free throws with 1:18 remaining to break a 77-77 tie. Ross Marsden scored with 10 seconds left for the final margin.
