-ISU is now 2-7 all-time in bowl games.
-Iowa State gave up just its second opponent opening drive touchdown of the season...Baylor scored a touchdown on its opening drive on Oct. 8.
-LaMarcus Hicks intercepted his fifth pass of the season and sixth of his career...his five interceptions ties for seventh on ISU's single-season interception chart.
-Todd Blythe scored two touchdowns, giving him 18 in his career, which is a school record.
-Blythe is now third on ISU's single-season receiving yard chart, moving past Tracey Henderson (1984, 941) with 1,000 yards in 12 games...he is just the third player in ISU history to record 1,000 yards in a season (1. 1,073-Lane Danielsen, 14 games in 2002; 2. 1,051-Tracy Henderson, 11 games in 1983).
-Blythe's nine touchdown catches this season ties the school record he set last year.
-Blythe is now fourth on ISU's career receiving yard record book, moving past Otto Stowe (1968-70, 1,751) with 1,833 career yards.
-Blythe joins Ike Harris (1972, Liberty Bowl), Dexter Green (1978, Hall of Fame Bowl) and Chris Anthony (2000, Insight.com Bowl) as Cyclones to score two touchdowns in a bowl game.
-Blythe has now scored eight touchdowns in his last five games (Texas A&M-4, Kansas State-1, Colorado-0, Kansas-1, TCU-2).
-Blythe recorded his third 100-yard receiving game this season (105 yards) and sixth of his career.
-Bret Meyer's 48-touchdown pass to Todd Blythe is the longest scoring play from scrimmage in a bowl game for ISU.
-Meyer's 39-yard run was his longest of his career.
-Meyer's three touchdown strikes is an ISU bowl record.

-ISU tallied a season-high eight sacks.
-Jason Berryman had a career-high 4.5 sacks.
-ISU committed a season-high four turnovers (two interceptions, two fumbles).
-ISU's 34 net rushing yards is the lowest of the season and lowest total since tallying 17 rushing yards vs. Oklahoma on Oct. 19, 2002.
