Iowa State Football Adds 25th Signee for 2005

AMES, Iowa - Defensive lineman John Machado is the 25th and final football player to sign a national letter of intent to attend Iowa State University this fall. Machado, a 6-3, 240 pound junior college transfer, played at Itawamba Community College in Fulton, Miss. He tallied 11 sacks at Itawamba in 2004, and is ranked by collegefootballnews.com as one of the top 20 juco defensive lineman in the nation. Machado, a Miami, Fla., native, prepped at American High School.
