The teams split last season's series, with both home teams winning. Both matches were sweeps.
Last Time Out
The Cyclones dropped their second straight match on Saturday, falling to Missouri in three games at Hilton Coliseum. Katie Jessen paced Iowa State with 13 kills and Katie Churm chipped in 18 digs in the loss. The Cyclones were out blocked for the second consecutive match, the only time that has happened in back-to-back matches this season. The match included an epic game two win by Missouri. The Cyclones had trailed 28-26 in the game but ISU battled back, only to fall 34-32 to the Tigers.
Closing In On 1,000
ISU senior outside hitter Katie Jessen is closing in on the historical 1,000-kill club. Jessen has 986 career kills and is looking to become the sixth ISU player to reach the mark. Kirstin Hugdahl and Steph McCannon both reached the mark in 1994.
