DALLAS - Iowa State's Erin Boeve has been awarded the Big 12 Conference Volleyball Player of the Week honor for the matches of Sept. 25-Oct. 1, the league office announced.
It is the second weekly conference accolade of Boeve's career. She also earned the award the same week last season.
Boeve averaged 4.88 kills, 2.00 blocks and 1.12 digs as Iowa State won a pair of Big 12 road contests at Kansas State (3-2) and Kansas (3-0).
At K-State, Boeve recorded a double-double with 22 kills and 12 blocks while posting 29 points.
Boeve followed Wednesday's performance with 17 kills and a career-high seven digs in the sweep of Kansas. She also contributed a solo block and three block assists.
On the week, Boeve compiled 48.5 points and hit at a .352 clip, improving her season hitting percentage to .309.
