AMES, Iowa -- Coverage of the regular-season debut of Coach Greg McDermott and his 2006-07 Iowa State basketball team will be available to out-of-state fans this weekend on the Athletic Department's website (www.cyclones.com).
Through its premium content section called the Clone Zone, Cyclones.com will offer fans living OUTSIDE the state of Iowa free webcasts of all Iowa State games in the American Family Insurance BTI Cyclone Challenge this weekend.
Fans INSIDE the state of Iowa can watch games involving the Cyclones on Mediacom's network of stations. But, because of television contracts, webcasts of the ISU games cannot be provided to fans INSIDE the state of Iowa.
For the Cyclone Challenge games not involving Iowa State, pay-per-view webcasts will also be available at the Basketball Travelers Classic website (games involving Iowa State will not be part of that offer).

After clicking on the sign-up link, you'll be asked to view a test video, set-up a login account and then asked for the following required information:
The links to games involving Iowa State will become available on the Live Events page on Cyclones.com when the webcast begins. Those that have signed up for the free webcasts will be asked enter in their username and password and will then be directed to the webcast.
Fans are encouraged to view live stats along with the webcast for scoring updates.
Cyclone fans will also get a chance to watch Coach McDermott's post-game media conferences approximately 15 minutes after the completion of each game. These are also free and can be accessed through the Live Events page.
