AMES, Iowa -- Individuals can still make contributions to the Cris Love Cancer Fund. Love, a former Iowa State football quarterback, passed away last month after a short battle with cancer. The fund total has reached $20,324 as of Tuesday. A July 10 "Birdies for Love" golf outing and dinner featuring former Iowa State football players and current coaches, raised a significant share of the fund. Fans can still donate to the fund by making out a check to: Cris Love Cancer Fund. Checks can be mailed to:
