AMES, Iowa ? Jiri Hubalek, a junior center on the Iowa State men's basketball team, will miss the opening six regular-season games of the 2006-07 season according to the NCAA's Student-Athlete Reinstatement Staff.
Hubalek will be required to re-pay the amount of his impermissible benefits to the charity of his choice to regain his eligibility. Hubalek would then be eligible to make his 2006-07 debut vs.
The NCAA Enforcement Staff must still determine the severity of the violations and any potential penalties against the institution.
