AMES, Iowa ?Led by Big 12 Men's Cross Country runner of the week Kiel Uhl, the Iowa State's men's cross country team moved from 30th to 23rd on the latest NCAA Division I Men's Cross Country coaches national poll. The
Uhl, a junior from Des Moines, led Iowa State to a third-place team finish last weekend at the Roy Griak Invitational in Falcon Heights, Minn. Uhl was ISU's first finisher, placing fourth overall in a field of 211 runners. He was named the Big 12 Conference's men's cross country runner of the week Monday for his efforts.
