AMES, Iowa - In a match that figures prominently in the Big 12 standings, Iowa State will travel to Texas A&M to face the Aggies in a showdown of the fifth and sixth place teams in the league. Iowa State, which sits two matches ahead of Texas A&M in the standings, looks to win its fourth straight against the Aggies. - Boeve set the Iowa State rally scoring school-record with six service aces against Colorado. Each of Boeve's six aces came in the third and final game, including four straight at one point.
- Iowa State is going for its fourth straight win over Texas A&M. The Cyclones have never won four straight over A&M and have won just once (last year) in College Station.
- The Cyclones are just 3-4 on the road in Big 12 play this season. All four losses have come to the teams directly above them in the standings.
- Erin Boeve has racked up at least 20 points in seven matches this season, including three of the last four.
- Ashley Mass ran her streak of consecutive matches with double-figure digs to 16 with her 13 dig performance against Colorado.
- Kaylee Manns moved into seventh all-time at ISU with her 46 assists against Texas Tech. The sophomore now has 2,298 assists and needs just 131 to move into sixth and past Kary Law (1990-94).
- As a team, ISU is averaging 18.28 digs in Big 12 matches, which ranks first in the league. Missouri is second with 16.59 digs. The Cyclones are bidding to become the first team since Texas A&M in 2000 and 2001 to lead the league in back-to-back seasons.
- Johnson, who inherited a team that had won just 13 Big 12 matches in 180 tries, has led ISU to a 29-24 league record.
- Under Johnson, Iowa State is 3-2 against Texas A&M. The Cyclones picked up their first-ever win in College Station in last year's match.

A Closer Look At Texas A&M (17-7, 6-7 Big 12)
- Texas A&M has won four of its last five with the only loss coming to then 21st-ranked Oklahoma, 3-1 (30-28, 21-30, 28-30, 28-30), on the road. The Aggies started the season 10-0 and are 7-7 since.
- Against the Sooners, Sarah Ammerman was outstanding, hammering 25 kills and hitting .404. Jen Moore dug 16 balls while Mary Batis had 14 digs to go along with 12 kills for her 12th double-double of the season.
- Texas A&M is the third most efficient team in the Big 12, hitting at a .283 clip as a team. The Aggies rank in the top-five in each statistical category except digs, in which they currently sit sixth.
- Individually, Kelly Stanton (.375) and Jillian Phillips (.360) rank third and sixth, respectively, in hitting percentage. Ammerman is seventh in the league with 4.12 kills, just ahead of ISU's Boeve (4.12).
- Texas A&M holds a 22-4 lead in the all-time series but Iowa State has won the last three meetings.
Last Time They Met (9/15/07)
The Cyclones were paced by 16 kills from Erin Boeve and 12 each from Jen Malcom and Mary Bisenius. Ashley Mass and Amy Vos had 16 digs each for the Cyclones, who out dug Texas A&M, 64 to 44, in the win. Texas A&M hit just .168 as a team and Sarah Ammerman posted a double-double with 12 kills and 12 digs. Ammerman was the only Aggie player to reach double-figures in either category.
- The Cyclones and Aggies met in the second Big 12 match of the season with Iowa State taking a 3-0 (30-27, 30-27, 30-23) sweep of the then-25th ranked Aggies. It was Iowa State's seventh straight win.
