AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State volleyball team returns to the friendly confines of Hilton Coliseum to host Baylor in a Big 12 contest Wednesday evening. The Cyclones, who hold a 5-1 conference record when playing at home, are looking for their fourth straight win over Baylor. First serve is slated for 6:30 p.m.

- The Cyclones, who are a match ahead of the Aggies, 1 1/2 matches ahead of Missouri and two matches above Baylor, got a career-high 20 kills from Lauren Cummings and 25 digs from Ashley Mass in the loss. ISU was held to just a .168 hitting percentage while allowing A&M to hit .247 as a team.
- Boeve set the Iowa State rally scoring school-record with six service aces against Colorado. Each of Boeve's six aces came in the third and final game, including four straight at one point.
- Iowa State is going for its fourth straight win over Baylor. The Cyclones have never won four straight over Baylor and are just 3-8 against the Bears in Ames.
- The Cyclones have been impressive at home this season with a 5-1 conference record at Hilton Coliseum.
- Erin Boeve has racked up at least 20 points in seven matches this season, including three of the last five.
- Ashley Mass ran her streak of consecutive matches with double-figure digs to 17 with her 25 dig performance against Texas A&M. The freshman has recorded 20+ digs six times this season.
- Kaylee Manns moved into seventh all-time at ISU with her 46 assists against Texas Tech. The sophomore now has 2,381 assists and needs just 87 to move into sixth and past Kary Law (1990-94).
- As a team, ISU is averaging 18.29 digs in Big 12 matches, which ranks first in the league. Missouri is second with 16.61 digs. The Cyclones are bidding to become the first team since Texas A&M in 2000 and 2001 to lead the league in back-to-back seasons.
- Johnson, who inherited a team that had won just 13 Big 12 matches in 180 tries, has led ISU to a 29-25 league record. - Johnson is 4-1 all-time against Baylor, including wins in the last three matches against the Bears.

- Against the Tigers, Katie Sanders had 23 kills on 60 swings to lead the Bears. Sanders also tallied 19 digs, just behind Sarah Grace's 21 digs for the team lead. The Bears were out blocked 21 to 10.5 and hit just .186 as a team. - Baylor ranks third in the Big 12 in blocks per game (3.01), behind only the Cyclones and Texas. The Bears are also one of the league's better serving teams, currently sitting tied for third in the league (1.61). - Individually, Anna Breyfogle has earned three Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week honors this season and leads the conference with 1.60 blocks per game. Grace is fourth in digs (4.21) and Taylor Barnes is second in aces (0.43). - Baylor leads the all-time series 17-8 but Iowa State has taken the last three meetings.

The Cyclones got 13 kills each from Mary Bisenius and Lauren Cummings and 11 from Jen Malcom in the win. Freshman Ashley Mass had 17 digs in the match while Erin Boeve and Amy Vos chipped in 10 each. The Cyclones were out blocked 12.5 to 12, but held the edge in digs at 60-56. Baylor was paced by Haley Thomas, who had 12 kills in the loss, and Sarah Grace's match-high 25 digs.

- Baylor had won five straight matches prior to dropping a 3-2 (21-30, 30-25, 31-29, 22-30, 13-15) match at Missouri on Friday night. The win streak included victories over Kansas (twice), Colorado, Texas Tech and a non-conference win over TCU.
