ISU Football Clinic March 29-31

AMES, Iowa ? Iowa State and new Cyclone head coach Gene Chizik will host its 2007 Football Coaching Clinic featuring former Iowa State assistant coach and Washington State, Pittsburgh, Texas A&M and Mississippi State head coach Jackie Sherrill, from March 29-31 at The Hotel at Gateway Center.

Sherill, who coached under Johnny Majors before a successful collegiate head coaching career, will be featured along with high school coach clinic speakers, Curt Bladt of Harlan, Fred Wieck of Clear Lake, Brian Wilken of Newell-Fonda, Tom Wilson of West Des Moines-Dowling, Barry Norton of Texarkana, Texas and Rush Propst of Hoover, Ala. Propst was recently featured on MTV's reality TV Show “Two-a-Days.”

The clinic will include field demonstrations, State of Iowa Championship Coaches Panel breakout sessions with Iowa State coaches and the Iowa Football Coaches Association “Coach of the Year” awards.
