AMES, Iowa -- Iowa State defensive tackle Brent Curvey and center Scott Stephenson have signed as free agents with the NFL's Carolina Panthers and Cleveland Browns, respectively. Cyclone offensive tackle Aaron Brant was picked in the seventh round of the NFL Draft Sunday by the Chicago Bears.

Curvey finished his career with 222 tackles and 16 sacks. The Houston, Texas native earned first-team all-Big 12 honors in 2005. Stephenson started a total of 24 career games during the 2005 and 2006 seasons. The St. Paul, Minn., native earned first-team all-Big 12 honors in 2005.
