AMES, Iowa- Readers who enjoyed former Cyclone basketball player Paul Shirley's book, "Can I Keep My Jersey?: 11 Teams, 5 Countries, and 4 Years as a Basketball Vagabond" can meet the author in person. Shirley, who amassed 822 points in his ISU career from 1997-2001, will be at Ames' Borders Book Store (1200 S. Duff Ave.) Sat., June 16 at 2 p.m.
Shirley will be on hand to sign his book that chronicles his crazy and hectic life as a professional basketball player. The 336-page book, which is on Amazon's top-75 list, takes an inside look of professional basketball with witty and frank analysis from Shirley.
