AMES, Iowa ? If you wanted to purchase one of the 5,500 Iowa State season football tickets in the Cy's Pack sections, it's simply too late.
The supply of those $195 season tickets, which provided a reserved seat in one of eight sections, is exhausted.
“It's our second ?sold out' announcement in the last week,” Director of Athletics Jamie Pollard said in reference to Friday's release that the “Meet the Coaches Night” in Des Moines on Aug. 2 had also sold out. “We are clearly witnessing a sense of urgency as it relates to football tickets and department events and that is exciting news for all Cyclone fans.”
Nearly 400 of the original 5,500 Cy's Pack seats were still in the inventory as of late as last week. However, all remaining Cy's Pak tickets were purchased over the weekend.
“It's not too late to get season tickets,” Pollard said of the school's push for season tickets. “Reserved seats are still available in the $350 prime sections and we will continue to offer hillside season tickets ($150 each) for those fans still wanting to be part of Gene Chizik's inaugural year.”
