Cyclones Host ISU Open

AMES, Iowa- Iowa State cross country continues its 2007 campaign in Ames, as it hosts the ISU Open, the only home meet of the season, on Saturday starting with the women's race at 10 a.m. The men's race is set for 10:30 a.m. Both events will run at the cross country course located west of the Towers Residence Halls.

Iowa State is coming off a strong performance at the Bulldog Classic in Des Moines on Aug. 31. Johnny Reel collected a victory for ISU on the men's side and seven other Cyclones earned top-10 finishes at the event.

Reel will be running this weekend along with seven other competitors on the men's side. Eight Cyclones will be competing on the women's side as well, including Dana Peters, who finished second last Friday night in Des Moines.
