Cyclone Notebook
-Iowa State (14-12, 4-7) travels to Lubbock, Texas to face Texas Tech (14-11, 5-6) on Saturday...TTU is tied for sixth in the Big 12 standings at 5-6 and the Cyclones are among four teams tied for eighth in the league with 4-7 marks.
-TTU has won six of the last seven meetings in the series.
-The Cyclones have a week off since their last game, a 60-52 comeback win against Nebraska last Saturday...the game was held during ISU's Centennial Celebration, where ISU celebrated 100 years of men's basketball by inviting back all of its alumni and honoring its 15-member All-Century team at halftime.
-The win ended a four-game losing streak for the Cyclones and gave ISU head coach Greg McDermott his 250th victory of his career.
-The Cyclones won the game despite scoring the lowest half total (11) in Big 12 history in the first half...down 24-11 at the break, the Cyclones outscored the Huskers 49-28 in the second half to win the game.
-It marked the second time this season where ISU scored 15 points or less in a half and came back to score 40 or more points in the second half for a comeback win.
-ISU was down 22-15 against Colorado earlier in the year, but outscored the Buffs, 42-19 in the second half to came away with a 57-41 victory on Jan. 29.
Last Time Out
-In one of the most bizarre twists of two halves, Iowa State rallied from a 24-11 halftime deficit and outscored Nebraska 49-28 in the second half en route to a 60-52 comeback win over the Huskers on Saturday.
-ISU's 11 first half points was the lowest half total for ISU in the modern era and the lowest in Big 12 history.
-On the flip side, the 49 points scored in the second half by ISU was a season high.
-The Cyclones made just 4-of-21 shots from the floor (19.0 percent) and committed 15 turnovers in the opening period...they countered by going 14-of-24 from the floor (58.3 percent) and registering 0 turnovers in the second half.
-Reserve Sean Haluska was the main reason for ISU's resurgence, tallying career highs in points (12) and three-pointers made (3), all in the second half.
-Haluska, who began the year 0-for-26 from 3-point range, is now 8-of-13 from downtown and averaging 6.3 ppg in his last seven games.
-Senior center Jiri Hubalek also came alive in the second half, scoring all 12 of his points in the second period...Hubalek has led or tied for the team lead in scoring in the last six games...Hubalek is averaging 19.0 points and shooting 50 percent from the floor (33-66) in his last five games.
-Hubalek tallied one block to give him 46 in his career, ranking 20th on ISU's all-time blocked shots list.
-Senior forward Rahshon Clark continued his dominating play on the boards, registering a team-high 13 caroms to go along with his 10 points...it was Clark's second double-double of the season and the sixth of his career.
-Clark is averaging 12.0 rpg in his last three games and his effort vs. NU moves him to No. 16 on ISU's career rebounding list (637).
-Bryan Petersen scored all nine of his points in the second half, including two big treys in the opening minutes of the second half to jumpstart the comeback...Petersen is 5-of-8 from 3-point range (62.5 percent) in his last two games.
-ISU outrebounded NU, 32-31, ending its four-game streak of being outboarded.

-Iowa State leads the all-time series vs. Texas Tech at 8-7.

-Junior guard Alan Voskuil is one of the best long-distance marksman in the league, making 54-of-100 3-point attempts for a league-high 54.0 percent clip.
-Voskuil, who averages 13.1 ppg, ranks third in the league free-throw percentage, making 64-of-79 of his free-throw attempts (81.0 percent).
