-No. 11 seed Iowa State (14-17, 4-12) will battle No. 6 seed Texas A&M (22-9, 8-8) in the first round of the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship, March 13 in Kansas City, Mo., at 8:30 p.m...the game is televised nationally on ESPN2.
-The winner of the game will face No. 3 seed Kansas State on Friday (March 14) at 8:20 p.m...all games will be played in the brand new Sprint Center.
-The Cyclones have not won a Big 12 Tournament game since a 77-57 win over Baylor in the 2005 Big 12 Tournament in Kansas City.
-The Cyclones ended the regular season with a 73-69 loss to Kansas State in Hilton Coliseum on Saturday...the Cyclones ended their home mark at 12-6.
