AMES, Iowa ? The Iowa State volleyball match against No.2 Nebraska, which is scheduled for Saturday Sept. 27 at 6:30 p.m., will be televised by Mediacom on a tape delay. The match will first be shown on Monday, Sept. 29 at 7 p.m., with two other showings scheduled.
“We are excited to have our match against Nebraska televised by Mediacom,” Iowa State head coach Christy Johnson said. “Televising this match will give fans across Iowa the chance to see great volleyball. The Big 12 is one of the best leagues in the country and we look forward to sharing the Cyclone volleyball experience with all of Iowa”
Last year's meeting between the Cyclones and Huskers drew a state of Iowa record 6,705 fans and next Saturday's match will include $1 admission for all fans.
“We have outstanding fan support and this will be a great opportunity for us to showcase our growing fan base,” Johnson said.
The Cyclones are currently 9-3 overall and 1-0 in the Big 12 while Nebraska sits at 9-0 overall and 1-0 in league play.
