AMES, Iowa ? The Iowa State volleyball moved up another notch to No. 8 in the latest AVCA Coaches Poll following wins over nationally-ranked Baylor and Colorado last week. The Cyclones will host a pair of top-10 showdowns this week when No. 2 Texas and No. 10 Nebraska come to town this week.
The Cyclones, who have won 10-straight, play host to the second-ranked Longhorns on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Tickets for the first-ever top-10 volleyball showdown in Hilton Coliseum are just $1.
Iowa State (19-3, 11-2) will face the Huskers on Saturday at 8 p.m. The Cyclones snapped a 75-match losing streak to Nebraska earlier this year at the NU Coliseum.
