- It was a close game early, as ISU was down 14-10 in the first half...however, a 29-6 Cyclone run over the final 10:15 of the first half gave ISU a commanding 44-22 advantage at intermission.
- Cyclone superstar Craig Brackins led the way, recording his 16th 20-point/10-rebound game of his career with 28 points and 12 caroms...Brackins went 11-of-17 from the field.

- Scott Christopherson came off the bench to score in double figures for the fourth-straight game with 10 points (4-8 FG; 2-4 3FG)...Christopherson, who has drained two or more treys in all four games, became the first Cyclone to score 10 points or more from off the bench in four consecutive games since Marcus Jefferson did it in the 2002-03 season...Christopherson is 9-of-15 (60 percent) from 3-point range this year.
- Diante Garrett continues to rack up high assist totals with ISU's improved scoring...he dished out eight dimes vs. MVSU, the fourth consecutive game where Garrett had five or more assists...Garrett leads the Big 12 in assists at 7.8 apg.
- ISU made 10-of-20 from 3-point range in the game, marking the second consecutive game where ISU had 10 or more treys...the Cyclones are the best 3-point shooting team in the nation so far, connecting on 54.1 percent (40-74 3FG) from downtown.
