AMES, Iowa - Eighth-ranked Iowa State plays host to No. 2 Texas Wednesday night at Hilton Coliseum in the first-ever top-10 showdown in the history of the program. The Cyclones and Longhorns will face off starting at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available for just $1.

? The Cyclones are looking to extend their school-record 10-match winning streak. ISU has won 10 in a row at home as well.
? ISU is ranked No. 8 in this week's poll, its 11th-straight week in the top-25. It is the highest ranking in school history for the Cyclones.
? The Cyclones are off to the best start, overall (19-3) and in Big 12 play (11-2), in school history after 22 matches.
? ISU is one win shy of its school record for conference wins, which was set in 2006.
? The Cyclones are looking for their 20th win for the third time under Johnson-Lynch. ISU has posted 20 wins in eight different seasons since 1982.
? Iowa State swept Colorado on Saturday, winning its seventh road match of the season and fifth-straight away from home.
? ISU hit .309 in the match, topping .300 for the seventh time this season.
? Earlier in the week against Baylor, junior libero Ashley Mass broke a 14-year old school record with 42 digs in the match. She is the first player in Big 12 history to post 40 digs in a match. Mass earned her fifth Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week award for the effort.
? Mass moved up to second all-time at ISU with 1,584 career digs. The junior is just 320 shy of the school record. Steph McCannon (1992-95) holds the current mark with 1,904.
? In Big 12 matches, ISU ranks first in assists (13.86), kills (14.77), blocks (2.76) and digs (18.41).
? Jamie Straube moved into the starting lineup seven matches ago and has made a major impact at the net, averaging a team-best 1.42 blocks.
? Debbie Stadick has been in double-figures five times this season after doing it just twice during her freshman season.
? Kaylee Manns has moved into fourth on the Big 12's all-time list for assists. The senior has 5,242 assists and is 577 assists shy of third place (Michelle Moriarty).
? Manns leads all active Big 12 players with 61 career double-doubles.
? ISU is hitting .238 this season after hitting for a school-record .234 in 2008.
? During the current winning streak, ISU is hitting .245 while holding its opponents to a .133 hitting percentage. The Cyclones are averaging 18.63 digs and 2.87 blocks during the stretch.
