- Iowa State (13-14, 2-10) plays host to Baylor (16-10, 4-8) Tuesday night in Hilton Coliseum...WOI-TV (Ames/Des Moines) will carry the game in Central Iowa...because of President Obama's State of the Union Address, WOI will broadcast the start of the game on its Digital 5.2 signal (secondary digital channel) and will switch the broadcast to its main (5.0) signal once the State of the Union Address is finished.
- Baylor is one of two teams in the Big 12 the Cyclones own the series lead against (10-7)...ISU has the series lead over Colorado and is tied with Texas A&M and Texas Tech.
- Baylor is the only Big 12 school that has yet to win a game in Hilton Coliseum...ISU is 7-0 all-time vs. BU in games played in Ames.
