Cyclone Women's Basketball Send-off at 6:30 p.m.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Iowa State women's basketball fans are invited to join the band and cheerleaders as they send the Cyclones off to their NCAA second round contest Tuesday night. Fans in Bowling Green can help cheer on the team at 6:30 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn (1020 Wilkinson Trace) before it leaves for E.A. Diddle Arena
The Cyclones will face No. 12 seed Ball State at 8:30 p.m. (Central) for a chance to advance to the NCAA Sweet 16. The game will be televised by ESPN2. The Iowa State-Ball State game will be shown in its entirety in the state of Iowa, while the rest of the nation sees "whip-around" coverage, which shows the most compelling action of the tournament.
