AMES, Iowa - No. 10 seed Iowa State (15-16, 4-12) will battle No. 7 seed Oklahoma State (20-10, 9-7) in the first round of the Big 12 Championship, March 11 in Oklahoma City, Okla., at 6 p.m. The winner of the game will face No. 2 seed Oklahoma on Thursday (March 12) at 6 p.m. All games will be played at the Ford Center.

- Craig Brackins needs 12 points to join ISU's 1,000-point club...Brackins is trying to become just the fifth Cyclone in school history to reach 1,000 points in their first two seasons...he would be just the third sophomore to achieve the feat...he would be the 27th Cyclone to reach 1,000 points in a career.
- Brackins needs nine rebounds to become just the third player in school history to record 600 points and 300 rebounds in a season...Brackins has 622 points and 291 rebounds this year...Jeff Grayer (811 pts./300 reb.- 1988) and Zaid Abdul-Aziz (619 pts./334 reb.- 1967; 604 pts./365 reb.- 1968) are the only two Cyclones currently in the 600-point/300-rebound club.
- Brackins was named first-team All-Big 12, the first Cyclone to be named first-team all-conference by the Big 12 since Jamaal Tinsley in 2001.
