Cyclones Host Spring Tournament Saturday

AMES, Iowa ? The Iowa State volleyball team will take to the court for the final time this spring as it hosts its annual spring tournament Saturday at the Forker Building. The Cyclones, who finished last fall ranked No. 12 in the country, are unbeaten in spring exhibition play with wins over San Diego, San Diego State and Wisconsin.
The tournament will feature the Cyclones as well as visitors Drake, Iowa, North Dakota State, Northern Iowa and UMKC. Northern Iowa and NDSU both reached the NCAA Tournament last season with the Cyclones defeating UNI in the opening round while NDSU fell to Minnesota.
The Cyclones return all but one starter and two reserves from last year's Elite Eight squad, including All-Americans Kaylee Manns, Ashley Mass and Victoria Henson.
Admission to the tournament is free.

- Each round of play will consist of two games to 25 points with two courts being played at once.
